GPPS1160 is a high temperature resistant and molecular weight crystalline polystyrene for the extrusion and production of bioriented polystyrene (OPS). It is particularly useful in the production of thick sheets by direct gas injection, where it produces foamed sheets with high mechanical properties. GPPS1160 can also be used in dilution with HIPS7240 for thermoforming sheet extrusion. This variety is approved for food contact.
