GPPS 1540 is a low-flow crystalline polystyrene designed for extrusion or injection molding applications. When extruded, it improves extruder performance and thermoforming cycle time when mixed with ultra-high impact polystyrene such as HIPS 7240. It is particularly suitable for co-extrusion of glossy layers. It combines excellent fluidity with a softening point higher than that of the GPPS 1810/1811 brand.
