SLES is an anionic surfactant with excellent properties. It has good washing, emulsifying, wetting, thickening and foaming characteristics, has good solubility, wide compatibility, hard water resistance, high biodegradability and low irritability to the skin and eyes. It is widely used in liquid detergents such as dishwashers, shampoos, bath foams and liquid soaps. SLES can also be used in washing powders and detergents for heavy soiling. In the textile, printing, petroleum and leather industries, it is used as a lubricant, dye, cleaner, foaming agent and degreaser.
