VINYL ACETATE is a colorless, low-viscosity, highly flammable liquid with an ether smell. It is miscible with a number of solvents, but not with water. The steam is invisible and, being heavier than air, spreads at floor level. VINYL ACETATE forms explosive mixtures with air.
